They are fast.they take state insurence They have great service. I use to go to rite aid and they are always mean and slow there. Hometown is never mean. And super fast. If u need your meds like now call them say I'm in a hurry and they will fill them as soon as they get them and text u. And they people there are so kind and patient. It's a amazing place to switch to. If I even lived in another town I'd drive miles just to come here rather than a rite aid or a Walgreens. Period.

Very tall, blonde lady with glasses is condescending, she always seems bothered when answering any questions about my prescriptions or insurance. I have had a positive experience with everyone else. Gift shop is nice.

Unfortunately if you call and ask questions about what is wrong with your prescription getting filled you get a snarky manager on the phone. As any person would call and ask questions on why their prescriptions wouldn't be getting filled. Simple questions. Your staff sounds fed up when they answer the phone. Customer service is a hard job, if you can't handle it don't work it.

Great pharmacy! I wish their hours allowed for more flexibility, but it’s not a huge issue. All the staff I’ve had experiences with are great.

The best pharmacy in Sedro-Woolley. Always polite and helpful, I've got no complaints OTHER than they aren't open late enough, but that's a minor issue.

I've been going to this pharmacy for over a year, just in this time period I've watched all their staff get switched out with people who seemingly hate their job, or they can't even pretend to have good customer service.. Everytime I call the people who answer already sound fed up with me before I've even said hello. To top it off today, the new Pharmacist gave me completely inaccurate information about a medication I'm taking and actually argued and spoke over me throughout the entire conversation. Do yourself a favor and don't tell people it's just anxiety when they're actually having a negative reaction to a medication. Also switching brands does make a difference and no they are not made "basically the same". I don't recommend getting any help from Janie.

Staff is great and friendly and I never have issues filling prescriptions. Reason I give them 2 stars is mainly due to there hours. Anyone who works knows its hard to find time to get to a doctor, but to also now have difficulty picking up prescriptions due to being closed on weekends? And 6pm on weekdays? Ridiculous hours! And to blame it on covid is a joke. Our healthcare workers work double time and put themselves at risk while your only job is to be available to hand us our medications! Yet you choose to stay home during the time we need you most! Its selfish and just opposite of what America should be doing... we should be coming together by doing the best we can and helping our neighbors! Not telling us sorry, we cant fill your prescription, if u might die, go fill the emergency room and let them focus on your menial needs instead of actual people in real emergencies! Shame on you hometown! Ps. When I added someone else to have permission to pick up for me, well they were turned away because they couldn't reach me... I was working and could not answer... then had to go all weekend without prescriptions, only to have to call them a 2nd time to give permission again! Realize that's a mistake, but frustrating when your closed on weekends. 1 day maybe, but both Saturday and sunday! Please hire someone for weekends! Even your 5 star ratings mention that's their complaint!

I have tried all the big-name pharmacies and skagit. But about four years ago I discovered Hometown pharmacy and they are fantastic. Co-pays are cheaper than anywhere else… If I even have them

First of all, two things to keep in mind; currently there is no in store shopping (drive through only), and they are closed on the weekends. Neither of which is a problem, read on to discover why.I just recently switched from Walgreen's to Hometown and I'm very happy that I did, for a few reasons. First, they do not attempt to steal from you by over charging for prescriptions if you don't have insurance. Second, if you do have insurance, somehow, co-pays are higher at Walgreen's than they are here at Hometown. Third, they have, well, a hometown feel. Even though you cannot shop in the store right now, if you pull up to the drive through and ask for something, they'll go get it for you. Fourth, they fill prescriptions MUCH faster than Walgreen's ever has. I used to have to wait a minimum of an hour for my pain medicine. At Hometown, I've only waited for just under an hour one time. Every other time, they've filled those same prescriptions in 20 minutes or less depending on how busy they are. So if you are wanting to change pharmacies and looking for a pharmacy with more of a hometown feel, this is the place for you. I highly recommend this pharmacy. It's not part of a local or national chain, this pharmacy stands alone, and does it really well. And finally, the staff are very pleasant, always willing to help, and just really nice people. Oh, and I've never gotten attitude from the Hometown staff, but boy I sure did at Walgreen's the last few months I was still with them. I'm very happy filling my prescriptions at Hometown, they're good people!!!

You won’t find a friendlier, more thoughtful and non-judgemental pharmacy in all of Skagit County. They have a hometown feel (which is hard to come by anymore). The only thing I would change (maybe) would be the hours. I might add a few hours one of the weekend days—but, on the other hand, it’s so nice for the employees to have the weekends off!

Never waited more than 10 mins. Everyone is super friendly and the pharmacist and staff recognize me immediately, be it walking in or driving up. I make the travel from Anacortes to Sedro specifically for this pharmacy. They have earned my business for life!

I love this pharmacy! The staff are always kind and informative. I never spend more than a few minutes waiting. I would never go to another pharmacy. There was even a time where I wasn't going to be able to make it before close and the pharmacist stayed there and waited for me. This is a wonderful place!!

Hometown is fantastic, Brian, Megan and Kerry make your visit or on the phone as painless as possible. You start your sentence and they finish it. They make it a part of there character to treat us all like family. Thank you Hometown for being there for us, the people.Pepper Ward

Hometown pharmacy is great. The service there is better than any other pharmacy in the county and it’s really not even close. I’m not a patient person in general. It’s one of my faults. I never wait longer than 10 mins at Hometown.Sadly I still have to pick up prescriptions at the local Rite Aid for my father. Unfortunately he can’t use his insurance at Hometown. Today I had another 45 minute wait at Rite Aid, for a script I called in, in advance. That’s pretty standard over there. Not sure how that pharmacy stays in business.

I should have given up on all those chain pharmacies years ago. After years of driving by this place, I finally went inside to fill a prescription. Extremely fast, personalized, and caring service. I intended to take advantage of the cozy waiting area with a huge tv and coffee, but I was sidetracked by the cute, funny, useful, and unique items and cards in the gift shop area. (and with lower prices than for identical items in stores nearby.) Even local hiking and biking guidebooks. I would come back just for this stuff, and the great selection of unique cards. But I'd also come back even if it was only a pharmacy. Too bad only the drive thru appears to be open on weekends.
